Join acclaimed director Peter Webber for a screen workshop as he guides you through how he directs actors for film and television. Through scene work and Peter's experience, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the director–actor relationship, the language of screen performance and the collaborative process of bringing a script to life.
Designed for actors looking to strengthen their on-camera work, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to develop set ready skills, receive personalised direction and gain valuable insight into what directors look for both on set and in the audition room. Whether you're building confidence in front of the camera or refining your screen technique, this session provides a supportive and inspiring environment to elevate your craft.

Bio:
Peter Webber is a British film and television director and producer known for his work across feature films, documentaries, and drama. His feature film directorial debut, Girl with a Pearl Earring* (2003), starring Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth, received widespread recognition and earned multiple award nominations, including three Academy Award nominations and ten BAFTA nominations.
His directing credits include Hannibal Rising (2007), Emperor (2012), and the documentary feature Inna de Yard (2019), alongside a range of television and documentary projects.
With a career spanning over three decades, Peter brings a wealth of experience in performance, storytelling, and collaboration between actors and directors.
