Bio:

Emma Sullivan is an award-winning director and Co-Executive Producer whose work is recognised for its distinctive visual style, sophisticated command of genre, and ability to balance intimate emotional storytelling with cinematic world-building.

She directed Netflix's live-action adaptation of One Piece, which became a global hit with over 72 million views, and returned as lead director and Co-Executive Producer for Season 2. Her extensive television credits also include The Watch (BBC/AMC), Doctor Who (BBC/Bad Wolf), The Dark (Poison Pen & ITV Studios), Silent Witness (BBC), and Call the Midwife (BBC/Neal Street).

Emma's short film After Tomorrow was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and won numerous international awards, including Best Short Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. She is a graduate of the National Film and Television School, Central Saint Martins, and the Royal College of Art.
