Join us for an exclusive free online Q&A with Casting Assistant Charlotte Sumner-Hughes, currently working at the BBC.
This relaxed and informal session is an opportunity for members to ask questions about the casting process across television, film and theatre, gain insight into BBC audition rooms and self-taping, and hear directly from someone working closely within the industry today.
Charlotte will discuss her experience working across major productions, what casting teams look for from actors and practical advice for navigating the industry professionally.
There will also be plenty of time for member questions throughout the session.

BIO
Charlotte Sumner-Hughes is currently working as a Casting Assistant at the BBC. She previously worked as Casting Assistant at the Royal Shakespeare Company and at the Donmar Warehouse under Anna Cooper CDG.
Her theatre credits include Hamlet, The Red Shoes and Othello for the RSC, alongside productions including Skeleton Crew, The Cherry Orchard, Macbeth and Next to Normal at the Donmar Warehouse.
Her TV and film casting credits include Red Sonja (HBO), Something in the Water (StudioCanal UK), How to Date Billy Walsh (Amazon), This is Christmas (Sky Cinema) and Dodger (BBC).
