Join Leila Ali, Casting Associate at Sonia Allam's casting office, for a relaxed and candid Q&A.

This session is designed to give actors direct insight into the casting process at Sonia's office. It’s your chance to ask Leila about self-taping and what makes a performance stand out to her, and how actors can best prepare for opportunities in today’s industry.

Bio:

She joined Sonia Allam Casting in 2021 as a Casting Assistant after graduating from the very first cohort of the NFTS Casting Certificate course.

During her time with Sonia, Leila has worked on various television productions such as 'Better' (BBC), 'Passenger', 'The Long Shadow' (both ITV) and the last three seasons of 'Brassic' (Sky) as well as upcoming series' 'The Blame' (ITV) and 'The Split Up' (BBC).

In addition to her work with Sonia, Leila has provided casting assistance to Shaheen Baig Casting on productions such as 'The Gallows Pole' (BBC) and, most recently 'Adolescence' (Netflix).
