This is a two-part workshop which will focus on 'self tape to in-person recall style audition practice within the workshop. Prior to the workshop you will self tape scene then come in-person in to the studio in a group environment to view the tapes - receiving direct guidance and feedback from Laura. On day two you will perform the scenes live in a mock audition style. All participants will be put on tape on day two and sent a free digital copy of their performances.

Bio:

Laura is working on her own projects alongside working with Suzanne Smith.

Laura Windows has over 20 years’ experience casting film, television and commercials for the UK, America and Australia. She began casting commercials, working with Sasha Roberston and then moved into film and television casting, working with Lucinda Syson. She lived in Australia for a year casting commercials with Toni Higginbotham and working on feature films with Faith Martin. She returned to London to work as the Lead Casting Director on the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony. Since then she has been working on her own projects alongside working with Suzanne Smith, Laura Scott and Lora Kennedy. Recent projects on her own include: ROBIN HOOD - a new television show for MGM/Lionsgate, THE ARK - Season 3 and THE LIBRARIANS THE NEXT CHAPTER Season 2 for Electric Entertainment and the BIFA nominated feature film UNICORNS. With Suzanne Smith - TV credits include: INSOMNIA, MARIE ANTOINETTE, FRANKLIN, SHADOW & BONE, ORIGIN, PENNYWORTH, LUCKY MAN, ABSENTIA & CARNIVAL ROW and film credits include: TO OLIVIA, UNDERWORLD & RESIDENT EVIL.
