Join IFTA-nominated director Diarmuid Goggins (Code of Silence, KIN, Silent Witness) for a dynamic 3-hour acting workshop focused on performance for TV and film.
This practical session will explore working truthfully on camera, taking direction, and adjusting performance for different genres and setups. A rare opportunity to gain insight from a leading director shaping screen talent at the highest level.
Bio:
Diarmuid is an Irish IFTA-nominated director known for his work in Film and TV Drama. Most recently, he was Lead Director on Code of Silence for ITV and BritBox, with the pilot episode attracting over 7 million views in under a month.
Previously, he directed the pilot and Episodes 2–4 of KIN for Bron Studios and AMC . He also helmed two Channel 5 mini-series for Story Films: Witness Number 3 and The Night Caller.
Diarmuid served as Lead Director on Bulletproof Series 2 for SKY and The CW Network, and earlier held the same role on Silent Witness for the BBC.
Other notable credits include Lead Director on Series 3 of Red Rock, a Dublin-set police drama produced by Element Pictures for TV3 and the BBC. His early work includes directing episodes of Casualty, Hollyoaks, and CBBC’s Dani’s Castle and Millie Inbetween.
