Ever wondered what it takes to become an audiobook narrator?

In this practical, two-part workshop, Rosie Akerman will guide you through the essentials of getting started in the world of audiobook narration.

Part One covers what’s expected of a narrator, vocal warmups, tips for creating a compelling narration reel and where to find suitable scripts. Participants will be given homework to record a short sample for review.

Part Two is a feedback-focused session, where we listen to participant submissions and offer constructive critique. We’ll also dive into the next steps - how to find work, what makes a great home studio setup and how to build your narration career from the ground up.

Perfect for aspiring voiceover artists and actors ready to step into the world of audiobooks.

This workshop takes place over Zoom.
