We are very pleased to welcome back Casting Director Caitlin Joseph to TAG!!
Casting for Screen aims to demystify the process of auditioning for screen, to simplify and build confidence while honing your audition technique for screen auditions. This workshop offers the chance to prepare and read a scene for Caitlin and be given honest feedback, tips and guidance in auditioning for screen in a positive, supportive environment.
Caitlin will receive your Spotlight CV prior to the workshop (please make sure it is up-to-date) and will then send out scenes for you to select one set of sides to prepare and learn beforehand. The scenes will be sent no later than 2/3 days before the workshop. Wherever possible, please be off-book/ as familiar with the lines as possible for the workshop.
The workshop will start with a brief introduction from Caitlin, then move into the practical side in which you will be performing specific scenes from scripts/projects. You will receive constructive feedback and re-direction. All members perform their scenes in front of each other - offering a great insight and opportunity for us to learn as a group. There will then be an opportunity to do the scene again with Caitlin's notes and adjustments. There will then be an informal Q&A towards the end of the workshop where you can ask Caitlin any questions.
