This fun, accessible workshop gives participants the opportunity to work with director Joe Hill-Gibbins on the Greek classic ELECTRA.
Participants will spend the day working practically on scenes from Sophocles’ thrilling exploration of vengeance, twisted love and mommy issues.
Together with Joe, workshoppers will explore the complex characters and modern resonances that exist inside this powerful drama.
Joe Hill-Gibbins works nationally and internationally as a theatre and opera director. His work in London has been seen at the Young Vic, the Almeida and the National Theatre. His last UK theatre production was THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD THE SECOND at the Almeida theatre, starring Simon Russell Beale.
