Date: March 19th
Location: Online
Time: 10.00
We are delighted to offer this great opportunity to get personal, filmed feedback on a self-tape from Casting Director Gordon Cowell!!
In this online workshop, Gordon will send out prepared scenes for you to self-tape 4 days before the tape deadline of 10am on 19th March. We will send your Spotlight CV to Gordon so that he can tailor the scene to suit you. You can submit two takes of the scene by WeTransfer, Vimeo or Dropbox. Gordon will record himself reviewing your takes and will give personalised feedback. He will also record himself offering a personalised critique on your Spotlight CV and showreel.
There will also be the opportunity to submit 2 questions and get honest answers - questions arising from the self-taping process or regarding Gordon’s experiences of the casting process. Gordon will record the answers to all the questions received from the class, so you will have the opportunity to get answers to questions you may not have thought of.
You will each receive your personalised feedback on your takes, Spotlight CV and showreels as well as a group “questions answered” tape, 4 days after the class date.
Gordon has worked in casting for over ten years covering projects in TV, film, theatre and musical theatre. He is currently casting the Broadway transfer of Bartlett Sher's 2018 award-winning production of 'My Fair Lady' for the London Coliseum.
