A two-part practical on camera self-tape workshop by Actor and Producer Henry Hereford (Crossbones / True Blood).
Each Actor will submit a brief note to Henry on what they are looking to work at, areas they might like to challenge themselves and parts and genres they like. Based on this, Henry will send out material two days before to self-tape as per an audition with specific instructions. The deadline for each selftape is Midday on 20th January to mail@actorsguild.co.uk.
Workshop 1: Each selftape will be shown and Henry will give notes on performance, set up and following instructions. He will give suggestions for what to work on and look for in the scene and self taping in general. Everyone will have the opportunity to re-tape the scene over the week and re-submit it by 3pm on Thursday 27th January to mail@actorsguild.co.uk.
Workshop 2: Each selftape from week 1 and week 2 will be shown and discussed. Constructive feedback will be offered by Henry and the rest of the group in a supportive environment. There will be an opportunity to discuss the business of Acting and the differences between the UK and the USA.
