We are delighted to welcome back Casting Associate Charlotte Sutton to TAG!!

Charlotte Sutton is the Casting Associate at Chichester Festival Theatre and an Artistic Associate of the Young Vic. She is currently casting productions for the 2022 Chichester Festival, Elliott & Harper Productions,  Sheffield Theatres and the Bridge Theatre. Charlotte is a member of the UK Casting Directors’ Guild, and has been shortlisted for five CDG Awards.

Using Charlotte's experience casting at some of the UK's top theatres this workshop will look at the casting process and what makes a CV stand out in a pile of hundreds.

Beginning with an introduction to her casting processes, Charlotte will work through participants' CVs to show what catches her eye and what to avoid. It will be an informal session with the opportunity to ask questions throughout.

Charlotte Sutton is a freelance casting director, working across plays and musicals with directors including Marianne Elliott, Daniel Evans, Tinuke Craig, Ola Ince, Jeremy Herrin and Sir Richard Eyre. Prior to this she worked in the casting departments at the Ambassador Theatre Group and the National Theatre for over five years.

Charlotte's theatre casting credits include: Best of Enemies, Fairview, Death of a Salesman, The Convert, Wild East, Winter, trade and Dutchman (Young Vic), more than thirty productions at Chichester Festival Theatre including South Pacific, Sing Yer Heart Out for the Lads, The Watsons, Cock, Flowers for Mrs Harris, random/generations, Quiz and Caroline, or Change. Other credits include Cock (Ambassadors), Our Generation (National Theatre & Chichester), Company (co-casting director, Gielgud), The Elephantom, Emil & The Detectives and The Light Princess (National).
