We are delighted to welcome Tom Payne, Assistant to Daniel Edwards, to TAG!

This workshop offers the opportunity to master the process from the moment you walk through the door - what is expected of an actor in the room, and how to hone technical audition skills. There will be opportunity for questions to be answered during the workshop as well as a Q & A at the end of the session.

Tom will send you a selection of sides to choose from, a few days before the workshop. Each actor will have the opportunity to 'audition' for the group and Tom will offer feedback and the opportunity for participants to work the notes into a second reading.

Tom Payne

Tom worked as an actor, agents assistant and producer before starting his casting career with Daniel Edwards Casting in January 2020.

Since working with Daniel Edwards, Tom has worked on multiple TV Projects including TV Dramas ‘Grace’ (ITV), upcoming 'Showtrial' (BBC/World Productions) & several projects which are currently in production.

A notable mention is he is incredibly proud to have worked on the Heartstopper TV series (Netflix) based on writer & illustrator Alice Oseman’s iconic graphic novels & web comics of the same name. ‘Heartstopper’ is an uplifting & life-affirming LGBTQIA look at life for the current generation of young teens.
