A popular 3-day Mounted Combat Skills Course - aimed at riders of intermediate level and above who are confident and comfortable at a walk, trot, canter and over a small jump.

Karl runs The Knights of Middle of England who specialise in providing a range of services such as horses and riders for the TV/Film Industry. The course will take place at their equestrian centre the Warwick International School of Riding in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside and just 5 minutes from the famous Warwick Castle.

The course offers a fantastic opportunity to get some serious skills under your belt, this will include more specialised riding on a variety of horses learning more advanced cavalry work, riding with equipment, horse archery, skill at arms, vaulting, trick riding and more.  Whether you're an intermediate or an experienced rider, the course is tailored to suit you. The wide range of horses and professional expert instructors will have you coming away with lots of confidence and ability.

The centre boasts excellent facilities - 3 all-weather sand arenas, one mile sand gallop, cross country course and plenty of beautiful woodland and fields to ride through - the perfect setting for horse-riding.

Included:

- 3 Days Tuition - Approximately 4 hours tuition per day split into 2 sessions.

- Use of all facilities, lunch is provided.

- Starting Wednesday morning at 09.30am and finishing Friday late afternoon at the end of the 3 days of activities.

- There is plenty of car park space and regular trains run from London Marylebone direct to Warwick Station.

Accommodation and meals (apart from lunch) are your own responsibility. Once you have booked your place you can contact us for a list of suggested accommodation.

The price is £450 for the 3 days, £50 deposit due to secure place at the time of booking, and then the final amount payable (direct to The Knights of Middle of England) one calendar month before the course start date.

Following one of our workshops at The Actors Guild with Casting Director Dan Hubbard he told us: "If we invite actors in for an audition that requires horse riding, we will send you to be tested first - if you list a skill like horse-riding make sure you can actually do it - keeping your skills sharp and learning new ones is all part of being a professional actor."
