Rory Okey is a Casting Associate who is currently working with Dan Hubbard Casting.

In this online workshop, Rory will send out prepared scenes for you to self-tape 4 days before the class - You can submit two takes of the scene by WeTransfer or Vimeo. Rory will record himself reviewing your takes and will give personalised  feedback. 

There will also be the opportunity to submit 2 questions and get honest answers - questions arising from the self-taping process or regarding Rory's experiences of the casting process. 

You will each receive your personalised feedback on your takes and answers to your questions 4/5 days afterwards.The deadline for your self tapes is 10am on 4th May. Please send self tapes to us at mail@actorsguild.co.uk. Please do not send them to Rory as they won't be seen.

Rory is a Casting Associate who is currently working with Dan Hubbard Casting.  Rory started as a studio assistant then studio manager at a casting studio called Nash Studio and was lucky enough to work on some incredible feature films, tv shows and commercials that initially ignited his desire to work in casting. After 2 and a half years he moved to Spotlight. He used his time there to meet other casting directors and to use Spotlight's resources to learn as much as he could about the industry and actors. He left Spotlight after a year and went straight into casting offices working in commercials, tv and film and hasn't really stopped since. He has worked with casting directors including Andy Morgan, Suzanne Smith, Lauren Evans and Reg Poerscout Edgerton. His credits include Luther (BBC), Good Omens (BBC/AMAZON), Rocketman (PARAMOUNT/MARV FILMS), Men In Black: International (SONY), The Dark Crystal (NETFLIX) Jingle Jangle (NETFLIX) Elizabeth Is Missing (BBC) and Guy Ritchie’s next film Wrath Of Man (MIRAMAX).
