Are your Belfast and Dublin accents in a mixed up whirl? Do your Irish accents lead you to the US? And why do all your attempts at any Scottish accent lead to any accent but Scottish? And when you're in Wales.... how come your accent is travelling to Newcastle? And, of course, each country has its own variety of accents...... How to choose?!

These and other profound questions will be answered in this workshop. We'll look at who you should be listening to and what are the tricks to keep you in just the one accent. And we'll have a wee bit of practice to make sure to you are recognizably Scottish, Welsh and distinctly Northern and Southern Irish.

Dialect Coach Elspeth Morrison works for the BBC, Channel 4, Sky, ITV and leading independents and regularly works with actors on a one to one basis to perfect their accents and dialects for theatre, radio as well as TV and film. She regularly guests on programmes such as Front Row and the Today programme on the BBC and Channel 5 News to add a bit of knowledge about the voice and its workings.
