We welcome Casting Associate Heidi Lawry for her first visit to TAG. Heidi is currently working with Amy Hubbard Casting.

In this 3 hour Zoom workshop Heidi shares her experience and tips. Heidi will begin with a brief chat covering her professional background before moving into the practical element.

Prior to the workshop Heidi will email out a selection of scenes for you and ask you to prepare one as you would for a real casting. Heidi will read in with you, provide feedback and then you will read again. During the Q&A section Heidi will be happy to answer questions relating to all aspects of casting.

Heidi is currently working as a Casting Associate with Amy Hubbard Casting on a wide range of TV and Film projects. Recent credits include My Name Is Lizzie (Channel 4) and Safe Space (Sky). Prior to this, whilst at Julie Harkin Casting, Heidi worked on Industry (BBC/HBO), Roadkill (BBC), The Salisbury Poisonings (BBC) and A Discovery of Witches Series 2 (Sky). Before casting for the screen, Heidi also assisted Jill Green in theatre casting, working on Dear Evan Hansen (Noel Coward Theatre) and The Lion King (UK & Ireland Tour). Heidi began her career in 2014, as Associate to Belinda Norcliffe, casting an extensive body of commercial work.
