This fun, accessible workshop gives participants the opportunity to work with director Joe Hill-Gibbins on the classic play A DOLL'S HOUSE who directs at the National Theatre, Young Vic and Royal Court amoungst others.
Participants will work practically on scenes from Ibsen's incendury exploration of marriage, power and desire, with a particular emphasis on discovering what the play means to us today.
Note: Joe asks that you read (or re-read) the play and bring your copy with you.
Joe is an experienced theatre director who work has been seen at the Young Vic, the Almeida and the National Theatre. His last UK theatre production was THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD THE SECOND at the Almeida theatre, staring Simon Russell Beale.
