Led by Casting Director Finnian Tweed

£24.00

Date: July 10th
Time: 10.00

We are delighted to offer this great opportunity to get personal feedback on a self-tape from Casting Director Finnian Tweed who has worked on many high end TV shows for Netflix, the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

The workshop will take the form of a self tape submitted to Finnian (via TAG) by WeTransfer or Vimeo, along with 3 questions for the Q & A. You will receive written feedback from Finnian to your self tape (maximum of 2 takes) as well as written answers to the questions submitted by the whole class. We will be sending Finnian the link to your Spotlight CV as usual.

What you have to do:

Please prepare a contemporary scene where the focus is on your character.  The scene (no monologues) should be from TV or film and NOT from theatre. Please be sure you know the context of the scene within the screenplay very well. You will then need to self-tape your scene.

There will also be the opportunity to submit 3 questions and get honest answers - questions arising from the self-taping process or regarding Finnian's experiences of the casting process. Finnian will provide the answers to all the question received from the class, so you will have the opportunity to get answers to questions you may not have thought of. (Please submit 4 questions by email to TAG so that we can pass them on to Finnian and avoid duplications.)

You will each receive your personalised feed back on your takes as well as a group “questions answered” document 3 days after the class date.
