We are very pleased to welcome back Caitlin Joseph, who is Casting Associate for Suzanne Smith Casting.

Casting for Screen aims to demystify the process of auditioning for screen, to simplify and build confidence while honing your audition technique for screen auditions.

In this online workshop, Caitlin will send out prepared scenes for you to self-tape 4/5 days before the class - we will send your Spotlight CV to Caitlin so that she can tailor the scene to suit you. You can submit one take of the scene by WeTransfer or Vimeo. There will then be a Zoom session where each self-tape will be shown, and Caitlin will give her feedback live. There will be time at the end for a Q&A. Once you have heard your feedback you will then be able to submit a second take of your scene and written feedback will then be sent to you. The deadline for the selftape is Wednesday 15th July at 10am.

All self-tapes to be sent to The Actors Guild.

Caitlin is Casting Associate for Suzanne M. Smith (CSA, CDG) alongside Laura Windows (CDG), she works on multiple projects for Television & Film. The team have worked together to cast upcoming series ‘Carnival Row (Amazon), ‘Origin’ (YouTube Red), ‘Nightflyers’ (SyFy/Netflix), ‘Good Omens’ (BBC/Amazon) the Emmy-award winning ‘Outlander’ (STARZ) & Season 2 of ‘Knightfall’ (A&E/History). Caitlin has just finished on several exciting projects including the new series ‘Warrior Nun’ (Netflix) and is currently working on Netflix's adaptation of the bestselling 'Shadow & Bone' book series.
