We are delighted to welcome back Layke Anderson who is currently working at Dan Hubbard Casting.

In this online workshop, Layke will send out prepared scenes for you to self-tape 3/4 days before the class - You can submit two takes of the scene by WeTransfer or Vimeo. All self tapes should be sent to us at mail@actorsguild.co.uk. Tapes sent to Layke will not be seen. The deadline for the self tapes is 10am on 27th June.

Layke will record himself reviewing your takes and will give personalised feedback.

There will also be a Q&A session with Layke via Zoom on 2nd July at 6pm

Layke is currently working with Dan Hubbard. He has also worked as Casting Assistant for Ros and John Hubbard, Maureen Duff, Kristina Erdely and Gail Stevens, beginning in 2013.

Recently Layke worked as SA director on the new Francis Lee film Ammonite. Outside of casting, Layke is a BIFA nominated and BAFTA-long-listed filmmaker, whose short films have collectively screened at over a hundred international film festivals and won several major awards.

Having previously worked as an actor, his filmography includes work with Danny Boyle and Richard Attenborough, as well as playing the lead role in the feature film House of Boys opposite Stephen Fry.
