We are pleased to welcome Casting Director Annelie Powell, who worked in Casting at the RSC before becoming Head of Casting at Nuffield Theatre - Annelie also casts independently as a freelance Casting Director and has a wealth of experience working with top Directors.

This workshop will consist of working on theatre scenes with feedback and direction. The class will be run in an audition format, but with the whole group observing. Your Spotlight CV will be sent to Annelie automatically and she will allocate plays a few days before the workshop which we will email you. 

This workshop is an opportunity to receive honest feedback in a supportive environment.

Annelie Powell

Annelie is Head of Casting at Nuffield Theatre Southampton and a freelance Casting Director.  She was formerly Assistant Casting Director at the RSC, where she cast main house productions, alongside many readings and development workshops over the 5 years she was there.  Current productions are Don Quixote for RSC, Othello for ETT, Billionaire Boy for NST and recent productions are  Don Carlos for NST, and Kingston Rose, Othello, Macbeth for Lyric Hammersmith and Home, Describe The Night for Hampstead.
