In this fantastic opportunity TAG members will work with Papatango Theatre Company's Artistic Director, George Turvey - looking at Papatango's approach to new writing and the actor's role in script development. 

Papatango's unmatched commitment to staging new writing inspires artists and audiences at all levels that all you need is a story. Their discoveries have won BAFTAs, Alfred Fagon, Off West End and RNT Foundation Playwright awards, and premiered worldwide. 

Participants CVs will be sent to George ahead of the workshop and he will send out a scene to look at shortly before the workshop - for which you should be off-book. 

We will be looking at scenes from Papatango Prize winning plays and using techniques we use in the development process and in rehearsals to explore the world of the play and which allow you to dig deeper into the characters that inhabit it.
