We are delighted to welcome casting director Leila Bertrand CDG, who has cast for many top directors at some of the best venues in the UK, to share her huge wealth of experience in this practical 3 hour workshop.
The workshop will start with an introduction from Leila about her process of casting, covering preparing, and the expectations on actors when entering a casting situation.
There will be an opportunity to get up on your feet and work practically. Leila asks participants to prepare a monologue of their choice, no longer than 1 minute. Leila will offer feedback and direction. Please be ‘OFF BOOK’.
The workshop will finish with a Q&A covering points raised from the workshop itself as well as the world of casting as a whole.
Please bring in hardcopy scripts of your chosen piece.
