This workshop offers members a full day workshop to learn and hone the skills required to handle blank firing handguns and realistic imitation firearms either onstage or on screen.
Workshop Content:
- Identifying hand guns.
- Dangers and Misconceptions about blank firing guns.
- Playing the part: how to hold, carry and fire a handgun.
- Working with Blank firing Guns and Replicas in Theatre
- Working with Blank firing Guns and Replicas on Set
- Looking at characters and scenarios. Room, clearing, hostage situations and disarming a weapon.
Learn how to look like you're a skilled marksman/woman. Discover how best to deal with having to work with one in your production. This is a comprehensive workshop with discussion and practical elements based on gun handling techniques and UK GUN laws. Learn to load, clean and fire in a safe manner.
