Meeting Outline
Do you want to be better organised and better prepared next time you have to get your tax return done? Do you have questions on exactly what you can claim and how best to organise your accounts? This workshop aims to empower you with the knowledge you need to remove the stress out of accountancy as a self employed actor.
Advice will be given on the best way to approach tax as a professional actor. All aspects of working as a self employed actor in the UK can be covered including, but not limited to:
+ What you are eligible to claim as a business expense.
+ Keeping track of expenses and how to account for spending which is for a mix of business and personal purposes.
+ National Insurance contributions.
+ Offsetting self employed expenses against tax paid through PAYE
+ Minimising tax by operating through a company
+ Becoming VAT registered
