Theo Park is a Casting Director who was previously Casting Associate to Nina Gold. Theo has now gone freelance and is working on various feature films.
Prior to the workshop Theo will send out a selection of scenes for members to prepare. Following a brief introduction Theo will offer the opportunity to answer any questions you may have about our industry including, but not limited to, her casting process, showreels, contacting Casting Directors and how to give yourself the best opportunity at the audition.
Each actor will then read their scene - Theo will provide feedback, offering ideas and insight, before offering the opportunity to read again.
There will be further opportunity for questions at the end if there is time.
Theo works on the casting for a variety of film projects, having been an associate of Nina Gold. Her Film credits include Sightseers (Dir: Ben Wheatley), Rush (Dir: Ron Howard), The Counselor (Dir. Ridley Scott), Cuban Fury (prod. Big Talk), Paddington (dir. Paul King), How I Live Now & Black Sea (both dir. Kevin McDonald), Far From The Madding Crowd (Dir. Thomas Vinterberg) and Man Up (dir. Ben Palmer).
