This intensive three day residency gives participants the opportunity to explore Shakespeare's Measure For Measure with director Joe Hill-Gibbins.
Through fun, practical exercises on speeches and scenes, participants will have the opportunity to explore this complex, cruel and sensual play, and discover ways to bring the drama to life for a contemporary audience.
This workshop will continue Joe Hill-Gibbins's work on English Renaissance plays after his productions of Edward II by Marlowe at the National Theatre and The Changeling by Middleton and Rowley at The Young Vic.
His other theatre work includes Little Revolution at the Almeida Theatre, The Glass Menagerie and The Beauty Queen of Leenane at The Young Vic, and The Village Bike and The Girlfriend Experience at The Royal Court.
Note: Joe asks that you read the play and bring your copy with you!
