The workshop will be lead by Ben Marks and will concentrate on Casting for TV with a focus on comedy.
This workshop will consist of an intro chat, Q&A and a practical session with a mock casting when Ben will see each actor one on one. Ben runs the workshop this way in order to recreate a casting environment and produce a more effective learning situation. A time slot for your individual session with Ben will be given to each of you after the Q&A.
Your Spotlight CV will be sent to Ben prior to the workshop and scripts will be handed out on the day.
Ben has been working as a Casting Associate for the past 10 years. Recent projects includes the new series of Alan Partridge, Sharon Horgan and Graham Linehan’s BBC comedy Motherland and Martin Freeman’s new series, Breeders.
