After the success of her last workshops, we are delighted to welcome Joanne back for another practical session full of tips and guidance.

The workshop will focus specifically on casting for soap. Scripts will be provided on arrival for you to prep and deliver in a mock casting. You will receive redirection and honest feedback on your performance. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A.

Joanne has cast for both theatre and TV. Originally an actress, she worked in casting for Oldham Coliseum before moving to ITV where she has been casting supporting roles for Coronation Street since 2007. Joanne has also been casting for JB Shorts since 2018 and maintains a strong relationship with the Coliseum, often joining their casting panel for their general auditions.
