Bryony Jarvis-Taylor works in the Casting Department at the National Theatre. This workshop offers an opportunity to discover how the casting process at the National works, to read for Bryony and receive honest feedback and advice.
Prior to the workshop Bryony will send out a selection of scenes for members to prepare. Each actor will read their scene, with the opportunity to read again following feedback or notes from Bryony.
Following on from this there will be an open discussion and the opportunity to ask questions arising from the workshop, about casting at the NT or any other questions about the casting process.
Bryony Jarvis-Taylor works in the National Theatre’s Casting department. As Casting Director/Associate her work at the National Theatre includes: Peter Gynt, Top Girls, Hadestown, The Lehman Trilogy, and If We Were Older. In the West End: Nine Night, The Lehman Trilogy (also Park Avenue Armory). As a casting assistant she has worked on numerous productions since starting at the National Theatre three years ago, in addition to projects for the Chichester Festival Theatre, and in the West End. Prior to working at the NT she worked in screen and for BBC Radio Drama.
