After a very successful first visit to TAG, we welcome back Glenda Mariani who is Casting Assistant to Suzanne Smith. In this practical workshop Glenda will work on prepared scenes, which will be sent out shortly before the workshop.

A few days before the workshop we will send Glenda your Spotlight link (please make sure it is up to date). She will then choose a specific scene for you which will be sent out at least 2 days before, so that you can come to the workshop completely off book.

A camera and a monitor will be used during the workshop so that you can see what the camera sees. Everyone will do their scene once, opposite Glenda, who will then give feedback that everyone can listen to. After that there will be an interval where Glenda will give you an exercise to do. Then everyone will do their scene again. There will then be a Q&A to answer any questions arising from the workshop, or any other questions regarding the casting process. 

Glenda Mariani’s CV includes working around some of the best casting offices in London. These include: Nina Gold, Priscilla John, Lucinda Syson, Rosalie Clayton, Rachel Freck and others. She has helped out in the casting of: Game of Thrones, The Crown, The Han Solo spin-off, Red Dwarf, Medici, Krypton, Aladdin, Outlander, Lovesick among many others.
