Cara has just completed Alys, Always for Nicholas Hynter at The Bridge and cast Still Alice for West Yorkshire Playhouse plus tour. Cara cast all three series of Witless for BBC 3. She recently worked on the latest series of Man Down and also cast an independent feature with Celestia Fox called London Town as well as Little Eyolf for the Almedia and Mr Foote's Other Leg for the West End.

In this practical workshop Cara will share her wealth of experience having worked on some of the UKs most popular stage and screen drama. Prior to the workshop Cara will send out a selection of screen scenes for members to prepare. Following a brief introduction Cara will offer the opportunity to answer any questions you may have about our industry including, but not limited to, her casting process, showreels, contacting Casting Directors and how to give yourself the best opportunity at the audition. Each actor will then read their scene - Cara will provide feedback, offering ideas and insight, before offering the opportunity to read again. There will be further opportunity for questions at the end if there is time.
