A fantastic opportunity to work with the brilliant and ever-popular Nick Bagnall, Associate Director at Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse who will be leading a 2 day workshop on selected works of  controversial playwright Joe Orton. 

Please read The Ruffianon the Stair, Erpingham Camp and Entertaining Mr Sloane and bring a copy of each play to the workshop. This will be a group workshop working with the texts and will provide an opportunity for honest feedback and direction in a supportive environment.

Work includes: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Odyssey: Missing Presumed Dead and The Electric Hills for Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse; The Last Days of Troy and Britannia Waves the Rules for the Royal Exchange, The Two Gentleman of Verona, Henry VI pts I, II & III for  Shakespeare’s Globe, Fragile for the Belgrade Theatre, Betrayal at Crucible Theatre, A Separate Reality for Royal Court, Billy Liar for West Yorkshire Playhouse,Entertaining Mr Sloane for Trafalgar Studios,  Burning Cars for Hampstead Theatre, , Mongoose for the Assembly Rooms and Promises and Lies, Bolthole and Low Dat for Birmingham Rep. Nick has devised and led workshops for the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Liverpool Playhouse, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
