Theatre director Sarah Esdaile leads a workshop looking at how to make maximum impact when reading a piece of text without much preparation time.

We will explore various aspects of the audition process: looking at making a good impression, bold choices, listening carefully to notes and guidance and facilitating the most fruitful possible chat about the play. We will also work on being in the moment and on trusting your instincts.

Feedback from members:

"What a sensational director & marvelous woman. I'm so inspired. Can't wait for next audition!"

"What a woman and what a workshop... Thank you Actors' Guild for making it happen!"

In preparation please read Richard III, The Crucible OR The Beauty Queen of Leenane - you choose which play you want to read for.
