We are delighted to welcome casting director Andy Morgan (CDG), who will be sharing his huge experience in casting in this practical workshop. The workshop will start with a brief introduction from Andy about how he goes about the process of casting, there will be an opportunity to ask questions as well as get up on your feet and work on text in a supportive environment. Andy will provide members with the opportunity to do a 'mock audition' read using scripts he will send out before the workshop and will offer feedback and advice on these. The workshop will finish with a Q&A covering points raised from the workshop itself as well as the world of casting as a whole. Andy Morgan CDG started his career in casting alongside Kate Rhodes James CDG. As Kate's Associate, Andy worked on numerous projects including BLEAK HOUSE, PIERREPOINT, DIRTY FILTHY LOVE, LOW WINTER SUN, FANTABULOSA!, THE LINE OF BEAUTY amongst many, many others. Andy Morgan Casting was set up in 2007 since when Andy has been responsible for the casting of many prime-time major Dramas including LUTHER, INSIDE MEN, MAY DAY, WHAT REMAINS, WAKING THE DEAD, LAW & ORDER UK, THE TURN OF THE SCREW, JUST HENRY, HOMEFRONT, RATHER YOU THAN ME! and MOST SINCERELY!. Andy's slate of upcoming projects include, FRANKIE (a new 6 part series for BBC1), THE WIDOWER (a 3 part story for ITV based on the true story of Malcolm Webster), plus the final ever series of LUTHER.
