This workshop offers an opportunity to discover how the casting process at the National works, and what makes a CV stand out in a pile of thousands.
Beginning with an introduction to the casting processes at the National Theatre, and her role within that, Charlotte will work through participants' CVs to show what catches her eye and what to avoid all together. There will be opportunity to ask questions throughout this informal session.
Charlotte Sutton has been the Casting Assistant at the National Theatre since 2010, where she has worked on productions across all three theatres including One Man Two Guvnors, She Stoops to Conquer, Frankenstein and The Habit of Art. Charlotte is also a freelance casting director and has recently cast Desire Under The Elms (Dir. Sean Holmes, Lyric Hammersmith) and Cabaret (Dir. Rufus Norris, Savoy Theatre).
