Date: June 4th
Location: Actors' Guild Hub at Spotlight, 7 Leicester Place, London, WC2H 7RJ
Time: 18.00 - 21.00
This workshop encourages and develops truth, trust, technique, and open engagement. It will help heighten your sensory and intuitive awareness, transform nerves and anxiety into clarity and self-confidence, and create conditions whereby you can play, connect, and communicate on, stage and off, with greater purpose, authenticity, and ease.
This fresh and intensive three hour course offers firm foundations and clear principles of acting. It is offered as an introduction and preliminary to further Jeremy Stockwell courses, including the upcoming and popular SHOSHIN series.
Whether working on stage, or screen, in a devised, scripted, or improvisational way, this course also encourages you to remain conscious of your creative and responsible self in honest connection and good rapport with others.
The course invites you to let go of negative and preconceived notions of acting and communication and stretch the limits of your creative potential, thereby increasing your chances of personal and professional success.
Please note: The Naked Actor course is specifically aimed at TAG members who have never worked with Jeremy before. Although those who are familiar with his work are very welcome to attend and recap, refresh and remind themselves of the basis of this particularly honest, vital, fruitful, and positive way of working.
The Naked Actor promises to be a fun, challenging, and re-assuring experience that may possibly change your idea of acting forever.
Naked - simple, uncovered, visible, undisguised, vulnerable.
