Practical independent guidance on representation for professional actors & actresses. When Spotlight decided to end their agent advisory service in March 2005, John decided to carry on the service independently using the huge wealth of knowledge he had gained whilst working there, along with his shop-floor experience as an actor, director and producer. He is now offering face-to-face meetings through The Actors' Guild. When it comes to advice on agents we couldn't think of anyone else who has such an acute insight into the who's who of agents. Both well known and well loved within the industry John offers an informal and supportive structure - and of course total confidentiality. These 1-2-1 sessions offer a great opportunity to ask those questions and get some honest answers. Subjects can include but are not limited to: Finding the right agent? What should I expect from my agent? Nurturing your relationship with your agent, representing yourself, moving to the next level, breaking out of a casting bracket and of course, most importantly, getting work! These sessions are totally actor led so John will only focus on the areas you want to discuss. Sessions are for half an hour each: 11.00-11.30 11.30-12.00 12.00-12.30 13.00-13.30 13.30-14.00 14.00-14.30 Please book online as usual and then email us to reserve your time slot.
