Emma Gunnery is a freelance Casting Director who recently worked on iBoy and The Angel for Netflix. Emma is currently casting two feature films.
Prior to the workshop Emma will send out a selection of scenes for members to prepare. Following a brief introduction Emma will offer the opportunity to answer any questions you may have about our industry including, but not limited to, her casting process, showreels, contacting Casting Directors and how to give yourself the best opportunity at the audition.
Each actor will then read their scene - Emma will provide feedback, offering ideas and insight, before offering the opportunity to read again.
There will be a further chance to ask any qestuions you may have at the end.
Before setting up as a freelance Casting Director Emma was Casting Associate to Elaine Grainger's on numerous studio and independent films such as American Assassin, Hitman's Bodyguard and London Has Fallen. She has also previously worked with Karen Lindsay-Stewart and Lucy Bevan.
