Liz Bichard is currently working as Casting Director on three independent feature films.

Liz has worked in top UK film and television casting departments on award-winning television series like River and Outlander, and on features which include 'Mission Impossible 5’, Kenneth Branagh's 'Cinderella', ’The Hundred Foot Journey’, ‘Legend’, and 'Straight Outta Compton’. She has also assisted on over forty shows for the West End, Bath Theatre Royal and Bristol Old Vic. More recently Liz has worked as Casting Director on acclaimed shows at venues such as The Trafalgar Studios, and rehearsed readings at venues including The National Theatre. 

In this practical workshop Liz will discuss how actors can effectively connect with Casting Directors, and what Casting Directors are looking for from actors.  Liz will work on prepared scenes, which will be sent out shortly before the workshop. The sides will be from television and feature films that Liz has worked on. Each actor will have the opportunity to perform their scene twice, with direction and feedback from Liz. 

There will then be a Q&A to answer any questions arising from the workshop, or any other questions regarding the casting process.
