A fantastic opportunity to work with the brilliant Abbey Wright on this great American playwright. Abbey has directed in the West End, Donmar, Trafalgar Studios & Lowry and is also Associate Director at the Nufield.
This workshop will explore the work of Edward Albee (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Zoo Story, The Sandbox) and a range of approaches to rehearsing his work - helping you to expand and strengthen your skillset.
You will have the chance to work on a range of characters throughout the day.
Abbey's credits include directing 'Grapes of Wrath' (West Yorkshire Playhouse, Northampton, Nottingham Playhouse, Nuffield) and THE MENTALISTS starring Stephen Merchant and Steffan Rhodri in the West End.
Abbey is also the Artistic Director of tackroom theatre which she founded in 2013. Her work with tackroom has been Critics' Choice in The Times, Telegraph and Whatsonstage.

Abbey has been Staff Director at the National Theatre with Danny Boyle on Frankenstein and Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse.
