We are delighted to welcome Casting Director Jane Deitch who will be working with members to share her huge wealth of experience and offer insight and advice.

Jane was Head of Casting for Drama Series at the BBC from 1999 - 2006 and is now freelance. She is currently casting several films projects as well as stage productions.

Following a talk Jane will provide members with the opportunity to do a mock read using scripts she has cast and will offer feedback and advice. The workshop will conclude with an informal Q&A. Scenes will be given out at the workshop as if for a cold read scenario but time will be given to prepare.

Actors' Guild workshops provide an informal and friendly environment in which to learn and sharpen skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

"The workshop with Jane was inspirational, and I felt she really gave everyone such useful feedback - and clearly had spent time looking at our CVs, as the scenes she gave out at the workshop were brilliant."
