A brand new workshop for TAG members to work with world renowned vocal coach Clare Davidson on one of your central assets as an actor...
Up-most in Clare's mind is always the development of the character an actor needs to embody. Clare has evolved a series of exercises which simultaneously focus the breath, body and mind of the actor on the text they have to speak. This consolidates the actor's emotional choices with the character, and grounds the pitch and tone of their voice so that they can release their interpretation through to it's maximum potential.
With this process, what an actor fears is a weakness can become the basis of their strength as a performer.
Clare is a world renowned vocal, acting and presenting coach working with names such as Sting, Pierce Brosnan and Orlando Bloom, and coaching on movies including "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and "The Power of One".
She has directed in London's West End and off-Broadway, with her theatre productions including Mark Rylance in Genet's "The Maids", Diana Rigg in Ibsen's "Little Eyolf" and Stephen Rea in Strindberg's "Miss Julie".
Clare learned her vocal technique at LAMDA with Iris Warren, and has combined this voice work together with her directing and coaching for many years.
