Anna McAuley has a wealth of experience as Casting Director and Casting Associate on feature films as well as TV.

This practical workshop will start with an introduction about Anna's background and way of working before going into a discussion with the chance to ask any questions you have and get honest answers.

The second part of the workshop offers the opportunity to get up on your feet and work on a scene in a supportive environment. The scene will be sent out shortly before the workshop.

Anna will provide honest feedback and insight as well as the opportunity to discuss any points that are raised following this practical aspect of the workshop.

Anna recently formed McAuley Walters Casting with fellow casting director Aisha Walters. 

Anna has worked with many established directors including Michael Winterbottom, Adam Smith and Jonathan Glazer across commercials, film and TV. Anna has worked in casting since 2011 with a number of casting directors, including Shaheen Baig. Anna’s associate work includes feature films Grimsby (starring Sacha Baron Cohen) Trespass Against Us (starring Michael Fassbender & Brendan Gleeson), Swallows and Amazons (starring Rafe Spall) and The Falling (starring Maisie Williams, Florence Pugh and Maxine Peake). Since setting up McAuley Walters Casting, Anna has co cast feature film ‘Postcards from London’, Man like Mobeen’, and several short films and commercials.
