Aisha Walters has a wealth of experience as Casting Director and Casting Associate on feature films and many award nominated TV series.

This practical workshop will start with an introduction about Aisha's background and way of working before going into a discussion with the chance to ask any questions you have and get honest answers.

The second part of the workshop offers the opportunity to get up on your feet and work on a scene in a supportive environment. The scene will be sent out the day before the workshop.

Aisha will provide honest feedback and insight as well as the opportunity to discuss any points that are raised following this practical aspect of the workshop.

Aisha Walters recently formed McAuley Walters Casting with fellow casting director Anna McAuley. Aisha worked for Shaheen Baig Casting for 6 years and assisted Shaheen as an Associate on numerous projects including The Impossible (starring Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor), Starred Up (starring Jack O'Connell), Locke (starring Tom Hardy), Black Mirror (Written by Charlie Brooker) and Peaky Blinders (starring Cillian Murphy).

As a Casting Director she jointly cast many projects including My Brother The Devil. Since leaving her credits as a Casting Director include the film The Possibilities Are Endless and TV projects Youngers, Cyberbully (starring Maisie Williams) and The Watchmen (starring Stephen Graham). She has just finished casting feature film Postcards from London which will be released in 2017.
