Liz Bichard is a Casting Director who casts film, TV and theatre - she has worked with Ginny Schiller, Julia Horan, Lucy Bevan, Lucinda Syson and Suzanne Smith. Liz has now gone freelance and is working on a variety of films and theatre projects.

In this practical workshop Liz will work on prepared scenes, which will be sent out shortly before the workshop. The sides will be from recent theatre or feature films that Liz has worked on. 

There will then be a Q&A to answer any questions arising from the workshop, or any other questions regarding the casting process. 

Liz Bichard has worked in top UK casting departments on award-winning television series like Outlander, River and Black Sails, and on features which include 'Mission Impossible 5' starring Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh's 'Cinderella', ’The Hundred Foot Journey’ starring Helen Mirren, 'Legend' starring Tom Hardy, and 'The Voices' starring Ryan Reynolds and Gemma Arterton. She has been the Casting Director on many short films, including ‘Crumble’ starring Amanda Hale and Abigail Lawrie, and ‘Present’ starring Henry Goodman.

Liz has also assisted on over forty shows for the West End, Bath Theatre Royal and Bristol Old Vic, such as Harry Potter and The Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre, and The Father at the Wyndhams (Bafta winner). Most recently, she was the Casting Director on the premier of Arthur Miller's No Villain which transferred to the Trafalgar Studios.
