Anna Cooper is a freelance Casting Director, and for the last 8 years, she has worked as an Associate to Toby Whale, across TV, film & theatre projects.

Prior to the workshop Anna will send out a selection of scenes from TV productions she has worked on, for members to prepare. Following a brief introduction Anna will offer the opportunity to answer any questions you may have about our industry including, but not limited to, the casting process, showreels, contacting Casting Directors and how to give yourself the best opportunity at the audition.

Each actor will then read their scene - Anna will provide feedback, offering ideas and insight, before offering the opportunity to read again.

There will be further opportunity for questions at the end if there is time.

As Casting Director, recent theatre includes: They Drink It in the Congo (Almeida), A Number (Nuffield/Young Vic), Tonight at 8.30, The Hudsucker Proxy (Nuffield) and Multitudes (Tricycle).

As Associate to Toby Whale, TV includes: Capital, Doc Martin, Arthur & George, Atlantis. Film includes: Dunkirk, The Lady in the Van and Belle.
