Date: November 29th
Location: Actors' Guild Hub at Spotlight, 7 Leicester Place, London, WC2H 7RJ
Time: 14.00 - 17.00

Having worked as an actor, agent and now with a huge wealth of experience as a Casting Director, Louis Hammond brings a unique perspective and understanding of the actor's life.

This workshop offers the opportunity to work with Louis whose wealth of casting experience includes the Royal Court, Young Vic, West End and many leading regional theatres

Your Spotlight CV will be sent to Louis before the workshop.

Based on your casting Louis will hand out appropriate scenes for a 'cold read' - although participants will be given time to prepare.

Participants will receive feedback and advice based on Louis's experience of the industry - Louis shares his opinion no holds barred. The workshop will conclude with a question and answer section, where advice will be given on how to approach relationships with agents, casting directors and directors, and how to make the most of auditions, with a particular emphasis on theatre.

There will be special stress on gaining a real understanding of how the profession functions and on avoiding elemental errors.
