This workshop will concentrate on Casting for screen with a focus on comedy. 

Sonia started off working in the casting team at Emmerdale, before moving to Lime Pictures as Casting Associate working on several shows including Hollyoaks. Sonia has also worked with the in house casting team at the BBC on Holby and is now freelance. 

Sonia has recently been working as Casting Associate at Catherine Willis Casting on numerous projects such as; Cuckoo (BBC 3), Drifters (E4), Obsession, Suspicion (Discovery ID), Hetty Feather, Wolfblood (CBBC), Upstart Crow (BBC), Flowers (E4), Detectorists (BBC 4), Plebs (ITV 2) and many more.

During this session Sonia will provide a relaxed friendly environment with no pressure to feel you have to prove yourself. This session will entail improvisation games, working in pairs, groups and individually at times. Comedy sides will be provided on the day to work with. Advice / Feedback will be given if required and an informal Q&A.
